Your mission
Under the leadership of FRA, there is a Management Support where, among other things, the Director General's staff is located. The DG's staff at FRA has the main task of supporting the management with cross-agency issues and matters, as well as with strategic materials, meeting planning, and contacts with the Government Offices and other authorities.
As an officer in the DG's staff, you will have broad cooperation within the agency and a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities.
As a staff officer, you will have the following tasks:
- Planning and follow-up – together with your colleagues, plan and follow up the DG's staff as well as other management support's planning and follow-up processes and deliveries. This in the form of operational plans, annual reports, etc. You will also participate in the staff's work with governing documents.
- Manage preparations, referrals, and decisions – prepare matters, formulate decision-making materials, and ensure that decisions comply with applicable regulations.
- Participate in assignments and investigations – gather materials, analyze, and propose action alternatives that can form the basis for decisions.
- Act as a contact point for registration and other support functions – coordinate information flows and ensure correct record-keeping and archiving.
- Assist the head of staff – develop work routines for the staff, organize larger meetings and events, etc.
- Operational development – contribute to various ongoing projects within operational development.
You can
We are looking for someone who has:
- A degree in political science, law, economics, or public administration, or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience
- Experience working as an officer, coordinator, and/or project manager within public administration
- Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
- Good ability to express yourself in English, both orally and in writing
- Good computer skills
We consider it an advantage if you have experience with:
- FRA's clients or work within the Government Offices

The workplace is located near Drottningholm, about 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. A prerequisite for employment is a successful security clearance with a background check. The security clearance will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act.
